Details

A 70m rope is a great choice if you want one rope to do everything. Never be caught out by a long abseil again!

The Edelrid Python 10.0mm x 70m is perfect for sports climbing, and ideal for toproping, indoor use or working a project. And when the ends start to get worn out, you can cut them off and be left with a perfectly usable 60 metres.

The Python features Thermo Shield treatment for perfect handling. This gives it the famous Edelrid suppleness and handling characteristics. The thermal stabilising process ensures that the core and sheath yarns are perfectly balanced. A special heat treatment cure first relaxes then shrinks the rope's fibres. This harmonises the gliding characteristics of the yarns inside the rope and ensures that it remains compact and supple throughout its life. It also ensures that rope does not shrink or become stiff.

All Edelrid climbing ropes are made in Germany. They are also certified by bluesign®, the world's strictest standard for environmental protection, consumer protection and occupational safety.
