The De-Ticker II ends messy and dangerous tick-removal practices—finally! An ideal addition to your first aid kit if you are bushwalking in tick-infested areas.

Ticks

  • Are on the increase - Worldwide

  • Are one of the most dangerous parasites

  • Can carry and transmit dangerous and potentially deadly diseases, such as:

  - Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
  - Lyme Diesease
  - Infections and inflammation caused by imbedded parts   of ticks in skin due to improper tick-removal practices
  - Unfortunately, tick-borne diseases are killing people and pets

  • The mouthpart (or commonly referred to as the “head”) is covered with barbs, which resist being pulled out of the skin of the host.

  • If force, pulling or even worse methods are used, the mouthpart frequently breaks off and remains imbedded in the skin of the host.

Directions for Use

Push button to open claws. Grab the tick firmly as close to the skin surface as possible. DO NOT PULL! Turn the entire device slowly several times in a counterclockwise motion (as indicated by arrow on the device sleeve) until the tick lets go. This action will remove the tick easily and safely—head and all. Once the tick is removed, disinfect the bite area and dispose of the tick properly.
Please note: If redness, itching or other symptoms occur near the bite area, consult a physician as soon as possible.
The Directions for Use are printed on the back of the blister card.
