The La Sportiva Tarantula offers the Tarantulace's same comfort features: a round, higher volume shape that doesn't torture your feet and a comfortable, unlined leather upper for all-day wear.

The difference is the Velcro closure, which makes it speedy to put on and take off between burns. What's more, this closure system is highly adjustable, which allows the Tarantula to adapt to different foot shapes.

Several features make the La Sportiva Tarantulace a good all-round climbing shoe. It performs when needed; La Sportiva's FriXion rubber sticks to plastic and rock equally well. Although it has the comfort of a shoe ideal for climbers just starting out, its asymmetrical shape helps you push grades at a faster pace.
