Vegan-friendly and vegetarian-friendly hiking food! On Track Bean Bolognese is a rich, heartwarming tomato base with beans and vegetables. This yummy vegetarian (and vegan!) version of traditional bolognese will make you feel like you're eating a home-cooked Italian meal. Serve with pasta and a little parmesan cheese on top! Serves 1.

The On Track Expedition Heat and Eat hiking food range was created after they received comments on how amazing the food is on On Track Expeditions. Now you can self cater on your on hiking adventures!


Heat in pouch: Place entire pouch in boiling water for 3–5 minutes or until hot. Massage pouch to mix food around. Open and serve with pasta.

Heat in pan: Pour contents of the pouch into pan. Stir and heat until food is heated through. Serve with pasta.

INGREDIENTS: Red kidney beans, four bean mix, tomato pulp, water, onion, carrot, celery, capsicum, red wine, Italian herbs, salt, garlic, sugar.
