Q&A:

Are Asolo Boots Narrow?

Most Asolo footwear is made on a “standard” last which is a medium width by Australia standards. However the Fugitive is designated as a wide fit which means it is a little wider than the standard last. We find it fits well on lots of Australian feet. If you have a very wide foot you will need to look elsewhere. As always you can take advantage of our expert staff to help you find the best fitting boot for you.

Are Asolo Fugitives Boots Warm?

Equipped with water-resistant suede and waterproof Gore-Tex lining, this boot offers some natural insulation to keep you warm and dry during winter backpacking.

What Are the Disadvantages of Gore-Tex?

Gore-Tex is a superior material that can add to the price of technical footwear. Moreover, it requires proper cleaning and maintenance to uphold its waterproof qualities and performance.

Should Your Toes Touch the Front of Gore-Tex Shoes?

Poor-fitting Gore-Tex shoes can lead to bruised toenails, blisters and discomfort. As a general rule of thumb, is good to leave a centimetre or so of wiggle room in front of your toes.

Do Asolo Shoes Run Large/True to Size?

Asolo shoes are true to size. We offer a range of Asolo hiking shoes, including wide-fit options to suit a range of feet.

Where Are Asolo Boots Made?

Asolo is an Italian, 100% family-owned walking boot company that manufactures everything in its own factories in Europe. The main production line is situated in Sibiu, Romania, with the majority of their shoes being inspected at the company’s headquarters in Italy.
