Gerhard's Crinoline Serious Adventure
An early publication rates the 2 day Crinoline walk as "easy". Well, it ain't easy now! Due perhaps to relatively little traffic through regrowth and the unavoidable steep scrubby descent back down to the Wellington River by Breakfast Creek.
But it remains a staggeringly beautiful Ridgeline walk with views into the Caledonia and Macalister River valleys. Lunch with a view en-route, tucked under an elongated cave on day 1 and morning escarpment views over a valley head to the Crinoline and beyond.
Delightful travel by road through the sub-alpine valleys and ridges to Licola from Tarragon. Thank you Staff Member Gerhard for sharing his latest serious adventure with his Vaude Mark 1, 2-Person Hiking Tent.
