Mont
Mont is one of Bogong’s oldest and most important suppliers. We have been stocking Mont gear since we started in 1989. Mont is a 100% owned Australian company and all their equipment is designed right here in Australia. They started with manufacturing down sleeping bags and clothing and their expertise in this area is world class. Mont now offer a full range of lightweight outdoor products such as packs, tents, clothing and rainwear.
Because it is all Australian designed it suits our conditions. For example the Mont Odyssey rain jacket (Mens) and Mont Odyssey rain jacket (Womens) is a long design that Australian hikers prefer and is not available from overseas makes. This jacket has been in the Mont range for over 20 years. Mont use the excellent Hydronaute waterproof technology on their rainshells and down filled equipment. This has been tested by Bogong staff extensively over many years and we are convinced that it is the best rainwear technology available.
