Bridgedale Stormsocks are 100% waterproof socks. These "boot-length" socks are designed for hiking.
Bridgedale Stormsocks are comprised of three layers. It's primarily knit from Merino wool, which is known for its anti-bacterial, anti-odour and moisture-management properties. An outer layer made from nylon to protect the Hydrotech waterproof, breathable membrane against rubbing from your boots.
This MIDWEIGHT Bridgedale Stormsock has a dense, resilient terry pad footbed, heel and ankle for warmth and cushioning.
A sock designed for hiking and walking in mind, the Bridgedale Stormsock offers Bridgedale's performance fit, with Lycra knit through every course. It also features a flat toe seam, as well as elastic arch support. The latter makes sure the sock stays in place, which helps prevent hotspots and rubbing. The stretch PU membrane and clever matrix lamination process that bonds the three layers together allows this sock to maintain the stretch that you require, wear after wear.
