This ski backpack is a back-opening style, which means the main zip is positioned close to the harness side. This means it's designed to be placed on the ground harness-side up, keeping the harness free from snow and other debris.

Aside from the main compartment, the Deuter Freerider Pro 30 has a google compartment up top, a big pocket in front with internal organisation, and a low-profile harness system that allows the pack to sit close to your body.
