The DMM Boa is a very big carabiner that is great for rigging. At 30kN it is quite strong. It also has a large gate opening 24mm and a huge basket to work in. The big size also makes this carabiner easier to work with if you're wearing gloves.
The screwgate closure is uncomplicated to open and shut, yet it is still a locking gate. The keylock nose helps prevent snagging.
DMM's 'I-beam' construction shaves unnecessary weight off this carabiner, making it quite light considering how large it is.
