The annual, much beloved Map and Compass Navigation Workshop returns to Bogong Equipment for 2025! In conjunction with the Victorian Rogaining Association (VRA), learn all the basics of using a compass, map reading and navigation. It's suitable for beginners, or for anyone wanting to refresh their skills.

Want to test your newfound skills or sharpen your expertise in a small group with an expert instructor? Spend a day in the bush at the Victorian Rogaining Association (VRA) Rogaine event!
Numbers are limited (up to 25 spots available), so be sure to book in quick. This ticket is for both the compulsory in-store workshop (held on Tuesday April 1st 2025, details above) and the field trip (6 hour Rogaine conducted by the VRA, covering approx. 15km in a group of 5 with a mentor providing navigation instruction and advice throughout the day). A fee of $45 cash is to be paid to Merv Trease for the VRA at the in-store workshop to cover the costs of the field trip.
