GRIVEL G22 CRAMP O MATIC CRAMPONS

The Grivel G22 is a dual-pointed evolution of the G20 crampon. The 12 points are a prefered choice for those who prefer the stability of the two points compared to the use of the single point. As the front points wear, the replaceable front points allow extended life. Using the same 'mono-rail' technology as the G20 - this distributes the points in an intelligent way whilst minimising weight - the G22 makes a more rounded offering for use on pure ice or for those looking to climb in the greater ranges and keep weight to a minimum without compromising technical ability.

The main plus point of the system is the excellent fit and weight saving design, however, do be aware that when/if one or both of the points become damaged or broken the entire front section of the crampon must be replaced.

At around 920g this is one of the lightest full (C3) crampons available, complete with front and rear antiballing plates and hot forged front points.
