Welcome to the Bogong Newsletter
Our webstore remains open – from home you can browse our new products (of which there are many!). We've had new deliveries of prAna clothing and La Sportiva running gear, as well as new industrial gear and ski gear. We remain optimistic that the situation will improve and that soon everyone can get some soul-soothing time outdoors. In the meantime, check out our new video on how to (and why you should) wash your rain jacket, and our step-by-step on how to wash your sleeping bag without wrecking it. Stay safe.

The Dragonfly
A New Tent from Mont
The tent we've all been waiting for has arrived! The Mont Dragonfly is the perfect 4-season, 2-person tent for year-round bushwalking. This weather-haven is strong in wind, thanks to clever pole design. It has two generous, drip-free vestibules that allow you to clip the door half or a quarter of the way open to ventilate the space, even in bad weather. There is plenty of space for two people to wait out a storm. The inside has some good storage features – six pockets and three mini carabiners attached to the ceiling.
We weighed the fly, inner, poles, tent bag, pole bag, peg bag and six pegs – the minimum for camping in good conditions – and the Mont Dragonfly comes in at 2.48kg.
Quick specs: 10,000mm waterproof, 70-denier, laminated floor.
For full specs, check out the Mont Dragonfly page here.

New Ski
Gear Just Landed
We've gotten a couple of new skis in this season from Asnes: the Ingstad and Nosi 76, which are both playful skis and ideal for backcountry skiing and Telemark skiing respectively. We've also brought in the K2 Wayback 96 – lightweight downhill performance with a width ideal for alpine touring in Oz and beyond. New in bindings are the Voile Switchback and NBC Magnum.

Mark has climbed in various places all over the world, including ice climbing on Africa's second highest mountain, Mt Kenya. (If you want inspiration, read about that trip here.)
