La Sportiva Mountain Running SeriesBogong is thrilled to partner with Running Wild and La Sportiva to create the La Sportiva Mountain Running Series. What attracted us to the Running Wild events is they are hard, technical, challenging runs which require a level of commitment, self reliance, training and experience but they are also a shared experience with like minded people. Most rock climbers would know that La Sportiva have a leading reputation in climbing footwear. Less well known is that over the last few years La Sportiva have launched an exciting range of Mountain Running shoes inspired by the sky running races in the European Alps and sponsor the European La Sportiva Mountain Running Cup. La Sportiva have also established mountain running teams and events in Europe and the US with great success. Bogong is delighted to announce that we will have the all new La Sportiva Mountain Running shoes in store mid April. See a sneak preview here: La Sportiva Ultra Raptor, La Sportiva Wildcat 2.0 Goretex, La Sportiva Helios The La Sportiva Mountain Running Series comprises 5 events: As you can see the Alpine Challenge was held last weekend in trying conditions.
