The La Sportiva Core Women's is a fully synthetic mid-cut boot for fast and light trips. New GORE-TEX SURROUND technology allows the boot to breathe through the sole, while keeping water out, for the ultimate comfort in medium to warm conditions.
The new Gore-Tex Surround technology provides 360 degree breathability. That's right - it breathes through the base of the Gore-Tex into a porous layer, which then expels the moisture out the side of the boot.
The Core combines La Sportiva's heritage in mountaineering, approach and mountain running to create a cushioned, lightweight boot for fast hikes.
While certainly not the toughest or sturdiest boot, the Core has become very popular for its light weight and extremely comfortable fit. It's the boot for people who don't want to wear boots!
