The ergonomic shape of the boot is particularly precise thanks to the all round tension straps which neatly wrap around the midsole at front of the boot, promoting perfect distribution of tension. This construction system is derived from La Sportiva’s know-how in the field of climbing shoes. The rubber toe protection is also inspired by the climbing world, using a construction method that creates continuity between edge and sole to enhance sensitivity during climbing. The EVA midsole incorporates a “Rock Guard”platform in the toe and a shock absorbing insert to facilitate ankle movements and avoid unnatural torsion. The Vibram Idrogrip sole has been developed with specific features for approach routes and is equipped with the Impact Brake System on the heel and on the inside of the boot, suction pads and climbing zone.
