The TX Guide Leather is the newest version of the popular La Sportiva TX Guide approach shoe. With a perfect combination of split leather, suede for greater adaptability and nubuck for abrasion resistance the TX Guide leather are versatile, lightweight and protective, perfect for walk-run & climb approaches.

Some of the main differences between the TX Guide Leather and the TX Guide´s are:

• Overlap tongue for maximum wrapping of the foot and anti-chafing lacing on the toe
• Anti-chafing lacing on the toe with split leather loops to protect the laces
• The classic asymmetrical climbing style lacing up is now closer to the tip for maximum fit precision

Also the enveloping Adaptable Fit shape of this shoe allows excellent adaptability to all types of feet thanks to the elasticity of the leather. It is very established at the tip and allows you to keep the edge when climbing. The Climbing-inspired protective edge is made of lightweight PU-TECH Lite material. The sole / midsole package is made with a double EVA with shock-absorbing compression on the heel and stabiliser on the forefoot: the front part of the midsole is co-molded with a TPU layer that also acts as a stabilizer at the climbing zone, medial shank and rock-guard layer on the forefoot. The dual compound Vibram MegaGrip and Idrogrip sole is the perfect combination of grip and durability while the pronounced heel facilitates braking downhill and provides greater grip when climbing.
