LA SPORTIVA TX4 Approach Shoes Carbon/Flame

The La Sportiva TX4 is a suede approach shoe that is a favourite among Bogong staff! It's ideal for technical approaches, via ferrata and light hiking. Popular with climbing guides and instructors too.

This is a thoughtfully designed approach shoe that gives comfort, protection and grip.

The TX4 has other features, such as the STB Control System™ that provides structure and torsion stability. The hardwearing suede upper has high abrasion resistance thanks to the PU TechLite all-around rand.

The Vibram MegaGrip sole is extremely grippy on rock. There is a 'climbing zone' at the toe, designed for precision when scrambling. Yet, this isn't a floppy shoe with no support - the Impact Brake System at the rear is designed both for walking and tackling rough trail terrain. The Trail Bite Heel enhances the downhill grip.

The La Sportiva TX4's lacing system is derived from the famous La Sportiva Mythos climbing shoe. Because of the unique way the laces are threaded, you can regulate tension and internal volume easily.

For how hardwearing this shoe is, it is actually quite light.
