It is big enough for two 9mm ropes, can be used as a conventional rope bag with the rope laid out on the Voyager's removable tarp, or as a rope bucket where the bag is clipped to a belay and the rope pulled out as needed: great for sea cliff climbing or hanging belays. As an added benefit, the tarp will clip into two quick-release buckles on the new Aerial pack. With tarp removed, the Voyager becomes a day sack to carry your bouldering gear or whatever you like. It has 2 grab handles and is made from ballistic nylon fabric carefully stitched to take some abuse.
