Nikwax Cottonproof is wash-in waterproofing for cotton, polycotton and canvas. It adds Durable Water Repellency (DWR), which helps repel water in wet weather. In doing so, it also helps reduce the weight gain you can get in a garment when it starts absorbing a lot of moisture. Nixwax Cottonproof does this while maintaining the fabric's breathability.

Nikwax Cottonproof is a safe waterproofing product: Aerosols are flammable and fluorocarbons pose a potential risk to the environment and to the wearer's longterm health. Nikwax Cottonproof is water-based, non-flammable and contains no harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and is fluorocarbon-free.

Nikwax Cottonproof doesn't require heat to develop its DWR, so you don't need a tumble dryer.
