The Exped Lightning is an extremely lightweight top-loader with roll-top closure - easy access and good weather protection.

NB: This pack is in Exped's ultralight pack range. Please do not expect it to perform to the same standard as more robust models such as Exped Explore series if used with heavy loads or prolonged rough use.

Comfort load range: 10-15 kg. The Exped website mentions a maximum load of 24 kgs. Our field testing shows that carrying performance is compromised on this model above our suggested comfort range.
