THE AGENT COLOURED CHALK STONE 100GM

Coloured chalk for Australian rock. Together with Expedition Equipment, we worked with THE AGENT to produce a coloured chalk of a hue called Australian Stone that matches a lot of sandstone and granite in Australia.

Personally tested by several Bogong staff before it went into production, this coloured chalk is the best hue we've found for Grampians sandstone. Although you can still see it on the rock if you know what you're looking for, it is much less obvious than white chalk, and could conceivably pass as a natural variation in the rock. Particularly in a time when climbing access is a hot topic, we should be doing all we can to minimise our impact at the crag. We hope that bringing this into the community helps with that.

The chalk is a loose power, consisting of 99.9% pure MgCO3, with 0.1% being the colour pigment of dyed MgO. Available in 100g resealable bags.
