Victoria’s multi-day Great Ocean Walk covers 100 kilometres of spectacular scenery and varied hiking from Apollo Bay, around the famous Cape Otway and through to the world famous Twelve Apostles. The route follows the Shipwreck Coast, beside the wild Southern Ocean, as it takes in remote beaches, breathtaking views at every turn, unbridged river crossings, coastal heathlands, towering forests and peaceful rainforest gullies.

About the Authors

Deb Heyes and Julie Mundy have been keen walkers their whole lives, and have been walking together for nearly 15 years, including a pretty wild and wonderful adventure to Patagonia. This is Julie's sixth and Deb's third walking guidebook for Woodslane Press, and researching, walking and writing them is both full on and wonderful. They have walked the GOW several times over the years but found walking it once more to write this guide was as pleasurable an experience as ever.
