GRIVEL G10 NEW-CLASSIC CRAMPON

The Grivel G10 with the new-classic fully strap on binding will fit a wide variety of boots from general hiking boots, telemark ski boots to mountaineering boots. The 10-point design is designed for walking and scrambling on snow surfaces and is easier to use for these purposes than its more technical cousin the G12. It is the perfect for hiking in the Australian Alps in winter and climbing some of our steeper peaks such as Mt Feathertop should conditions be at all icy. It also ideally suited to those going on ski mountaineering trips to the great ranges of the world where crampons might be needed or for glacier walking anywhere.

The New-Classic binding has both front and rear plastic harnesses which are hinged from their respective retention posts and may be "opened" to facilitate attachment to the boot, then closed securely once the boot is inside. The single strap closure system is so simple you hardly need to read the instructions. This system is simple and reliable, quick and easy, and will strap on to a large variety of boot types.

The "active" anti balling system works a treat as it flexes to clear snow from the base of the crampon. The crampon can be adjusted easily for different boot sizes in the field with no special tools required.
