Heading away somewhere and realise you don’t have some of the equipment you think you’ll need? We have a large range of essential light weight quality hiking equipment for hire at very reasonable rates. Hiring allows you to not only sample some of the items we sell in store, but gives you access to high quality equipment for those one off occasions where you may require items such as PLBs*, crampons, ice axes or snowshoes. So if you need to hire a pack, tent, sleeping bag, rain jacket or sleeping mat Bogong is the place to come.

Hire Rates
Weekend rate allows Thursday afternoon pickup, Monday return. Week rate allows 7 days or in the case of a Friday pickup goods may be returned on the Monday week.

Book In Advance
During busy periods such as the Easter and Christmas breaks it is important to get in early as our equipment is quickly booked out. Call the store to book the items ahead of time for the rental period you require and simply pay when you pick up the items.

Try Before You Buy We will deduct the cost of up to one weekends hire from the price of a new stock item if purchased from us within 14 days of the hire return. Please keep your receipt to claim this. Applies to like for like items only ie: hire a pack, buy a pack etc.
