The Outdoor Research Ascendant Jacket is one of those do-it-all jackets. This is the women's version. Perfect for cooler seasons and layering, this is an insulated jacket with movement-mirroring stretch. It's warm when you need it to be, and breathable when you need it to be. The insulation is fuzzy Polartec Alpha Direct, which holds warmth, yet breathes. It also wicks moisture away from your body.
The outer material is Pertex Microlight 20D ripstop, which fends off small raindrops and is also wind-resistant.
