PETZL SELENA Womens Climbing Harness

The Petzl Selena is a women's climbing harness for gym climbing, top-rope and multi-pitch climbing.

This Petzl Women's harness is one of the mainstays of Petzl's women's harness range. That's because its simple, comfortable and high quality. The Selena has an adjustable waist loop and elastic leg loops.

The four gear loops give you room for a rack, and the low-profile rear loops make the Selena easier to wear with a pack; for, say, if you're carring a pack up a long multipitch.

The waist belt is specifically designed to fit a woman's waist and lower back proportions. The 'rise' – the distance between the front of the waistband and the top of the leg loops – is also longer to accommodate for longer hips, which is typical in women. Finally, the waist-to-legloop ratio is reduced, again to align with typical female proportions.

Some climbers swear by non-adjustable elastic leg loops as being the most comfortable type of leg loop. This, and the features outlined above, make the Selena a great choice for multipitch climbing, or climbing at the gym.

If you're just starting out, or transitioning from indoor climbing to outdoor climbing, you won't need to get a new harness; because the Petzl Selena will take you from gym to crag. Finally, some say that Petzl makes the best-fitting women's climbing harnesses.
