Sul Confine - Climbing In Friuli & Slovenia

Sul Confine is a comprehensive guidebook covering the rock climbing areas around the Italian and Slovenian border. The guidebook mainly covers the crags in the northeast Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulias, around the cities of Trieste, Pordenone, and to the north of Udine. Also included are the excellent crags of Osp, Misja Pec and Crni Kal that are located across the border in Slovenia.

At the start of each crag, is a location map plus further information regarding orientation of the crag and hence exposure to the sun, the condition of the bolts, the overall beauty of the crag, how good the parking is, how popular it is, and if it is child friendly. In total 50 different crags are detailed, with all the routes described on clear colour topos with French grades used throughout.

Published in September 2013 this guidebook is in Italian and English text only, along with many excellent action colour photographs.
