Description

The DMM Dragonfly size 1 micro cam is DMM's smallest certified climbing cam. (It's also smaller than the smallest Alien cam, which is a famous manufacturer of flexible-stem cams.)

Tiny flexible-stem cams like this one are ideal for shallow pockets, narrow cracks and marginal placements. The flexible stem helps reducing cam 'walking', where cams wiggle out of position.

DMM Dragonfly cams are extremely flexible. Even more so than Aliens. The trigger has DMM-quality ergonomics and is comfortable to use. Still, it's a very narrow unit, allowing it to be placed deep in thin cracks.

Like DMM Dragons, these are double-axle cams manufactured to the 'magic' camming angle of 13.75 degrees, which is the optimum angle for the best combination of holding power and range.

To help the DMM Dragonfly even further, Dragonfly microcams have lobes with a raw aluminium finish and a grid pattern, to increase friction on rock like slick quartzite or smooth limestone.

This small, light, flexible-stem cam is an asset for every rack.
