It's still webstore shopping only for us here at Bogong, in accordance with Victorian restrictions. Our webstore is still open and our skeleton crew are fulfilling orders via mail and Contactless Click and Collect.
We're prepping our store for a big re-opening, but in the meantime, check out what's landed recently (below) and what our staff have been writing about in lockdown.

Our Full Range!
It’s no secret that La Sportiva has been a favourite of Bogong customers and staff, for many years. Their range of mountain footwear is truly world-leading, whether it’s climbing shoes, mountaineering boots, mountain running shoes or hiking footwear. But did you know that La Sportiva is now making a full range of technical apparel for the outdoor pursuits all designed at their headquarters in the Dolomites, Italy?
Over the last few years, Bogong has been trialling La Sportiva apparel, and we’ve been impressed. It combines serious technical chops with La Sportiva’s unique sense of style. Now we have landed our largest ever range! Here’s an overview.

Fit notes:
In general, we find La Sportiva to have a slim, athletic fit. The European sizing generally runs small, so if you're in doubt, size up.
Colours:
Many of the colour schemes are pretty 'out there', but in some models (such as the Cliff Pant) La Spo is also offering some more conservative colours.

Outdoor Research Facemasks
It looks like facemasks are going to be a thing for the next little while. Our Outdoor Research facemasks have landed. Honestly, these are one of the better masks we've tried – they have a wire nosepiece to custom-shape around your nose, and it provides good coverage and is comfortable on your ears.
They come in both grey and black.

Bogong Equipment was founded in 1989. Everyone who works at Bogong Equipment is a climber, hiker, mountaineer or runner. We have first-hand experience in cragging, multiday bushwalking, alpine climbing and trail running. We use the gear we sell. That means, we can tell you how a product truly performs in the field. That's how we only select the best gear to stock our shelves.
Our stock room in our brick-and-mortar store on Little Bourke Street, in Melbourne, is filled with purpose-designed, technical equipment. With our vast selection of gear, it can be tricky to know where to begin. Especially if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. That's why we employ knowledgeable, experienced staff. We can help you get equipped for your remote trekking expedition, your ice-cap crossing, climbing your first peak or simply your next wander in the hills.
